Greenfield Village is an open-air historic village that’s part of The Henry Ford, a larger museum and cultural institution. It brings to life American history from the 18th to early 20th centuries through immersive experiences, working farms, and original historic buildings—all designed to capture the spirit and innovation of that era.

As Art Director, I led the creative development for the Greenfield Village food packaging project, blending The Henry Ford’s modern branding with the Greenfield Village’s historic, handmade aesthetic. I designed three distinct label styles strategically rotated among product categories, giving each a unique look while maintaining visual cohesion. These labels incorporated The Henry Ford’s brand colors, graphic elements, and logos, softened by chalkboard textures, handwritten fonts, and custom-shaped labels to evoke a tactile, handmade feel—resulting in a unified yet varied presentation across 80 diverse food products. After Creative Director and client approval, I directed a team of production designers through full rollout and print production prep, ensuring consistent brand application throughout.
