The San Diego Museum of Art is located in the heart of Balboa Park, one of the cultural epicenters of San Diego, and is known for its art that spans centuries and artistic styles. In addition to its permanent displays, the museum regularly presents traveling and rotating exhibitions.

Designed two editions of the quarterly San Diego Museum of Art Member Magazine. Responsible for layout design, image selection, and preparing print-ready files, I worked closely with copywriters, editors, and curators to ensure each issue reflected the museum’s tone and mission.
In addition to layout and production, I identified an opportunity to feature the museum’s unique gift shop merchandise—handcrafted goods by local artisans, jewelry, and artful home items—as a way to support revenue goals. I proposed a new editorial integration and used my studio photography skills to produce professional product shots that could be seamlessly incorporated into the magazine’s visual design.
