MWR Catering is part of the U.S. Navy’s Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) division, providing catering services to support events and gatherings for active-duty personnel, veterans, and their families. It serves Navy Region Southwest, which includes six bases: Coronado, Point Loma, San Diego, Ventura County, El Centro, and Seal Beach.

Redesigned the Navy Region Southwest Catering Magazine, transforming it from a basic venue listing into a polished, resort-style publication. With only copy provided, the project required evaluating content structure, establishing a clear visual flow, and developing an elevated visual direction. Responsibilities included layout design, image selection and editing, and final file preparation.
Conceptualized and introduced a new “Experiences” section to highlight underrepresented MWR programs to broaden awareness and support increased engagement and revenue.
